"Connell & Schmidt is company that is very professional that does quality work and shows a keen interest to detail. They are very easy to work with and very flexible, while still offering their professional expertise as issues come up, as they will throughout a such a sizable renovation. This town home was completely gutted except for the floors and the original staircase. All new plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work was installed. A high-end kitchen was installed from Crownpoint along with marble mosaic and ceramic tile bathrooms. All new Marvin wood windows were installed as well as all new interior doors complete with operable transoms true to the originals which they replaced. New wood wide plank quarter-sawn oak floors were installed as well as custom oak parquet flooring with a custom border. Custom cabinetry was constructed onsite by Connell & Schmidt true to original styles found in the house. Elaborate window seats with columns and intricate moldings and trim were also installed. Charming custom cedar fencing and a pergola were also built in the back yard. In short, Connell & Schmidt took a dark narrow townhouse and transformed it into a beautiful, light-filled, and unique home."
